Rumour: Transformers Devastation – Retro Cell Shaded Title To Be Announced At E3

Update 14/06/15: It turns out that the leaked images are true and Transformers: Devastation is a real thing, as it appeared on the BestBuy website.  The retail listing confirmed that the game will be coming to PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One (I assume PC via Steam).  They also confirmed various details such as it being developed by Platinum Games, it will have customisation features and the original voice cast will reprise their roles in the latest Transformers game.  You can check out the overview details below

The BestBuy listing also says that the game will release October 6^th 2015, so I presume that means the 9^th for Europe.

Transformers Devastation Overview

Original Story: Take these images with a pinch of salt, but it’s hard to argue that they don’t look pretty darn awesome.  Pure Xbox acquired some images from an alleged source that are apparently from a new Transformers game called Transformers: Devastation and it’s said that it will be officially revealed at E3 next week.

Pure Xbox say that the game is from publisher Activision and as you can see, the game looks to have the visuals of a cell-shaded G1 Transformer era.  Transformers: Devastation is said to be coming to Xbox 360, but if this turns out to be genuine, it is very likely that Activision will release it for PC, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One.

Hopefully we’ll get official confirmation of its existence at E3 either way, so watch this space.  I just hope that the next Transformers game is significantly better then Rise of the Dark Spark.
