The next Zelda game has some big boots to fill after the success of Skyward Sword. Fans have high hopes with little info publicly released on the next big title. However a few things have been circulating around sources that the next Zelda game will be of the same graphics style that was used in Skyward Sword. Not only that but will it be making full use of it’s 25 GB disc storage space. It has been hinted to be the biggest Zelda game ever! Other rumours have been come out that one dungeon will be a forest bigger than the whole of Ocarina of time’s Hyrule Field. So fans could be in for a massive treat.

Of course with this game coming to Wii U there will be a lot of functionality focused around the shiny new Wii U Pad. To further this there will be direct interaction with the Miiverse online and even taking up features hinted in other games like ZombiU where players can leave hints and messages in dungeons to help other players. One source is more intrigued than ever to try and find out where exactly in the Zelda timeline the game is set. I can’t say I blame them. With the recent release of the Hyrule Historia it has given us all a good think about each of the games and where they go. Could this be set even before these or will it be a continuing segment of the later games. I guess we shall have to wait and see. So when is this game likely to be in our hands? Late 2014 seems to be the vision right now but that is always subject to change especially with big titles such as this.

What does this mean for the Wii U as a console however? Well, it means that the Wii U has got to hold it’s own with it’s release titles and Bayonetta 2. But this DOES include a Mario game. So it should be fine. Fans keep a hold onto your excitement because this baby sounds like it’s one worth waiting for. Keep checking back for more details.
