EA Sports Reveal More Fighters For UFC 2014

EA has released new screenshots for EA Sports UFC 2014, due for release later this year, revealing a host of new fighters as highlighted in the images below.

The full list of well known Mixed Martial Artists are as follows;

• The original Ultimate Fighter winner, former Light Heavyweight Champion and Hall Of Famer Forrest Griffin
• Chan Sung Jung aka the Korean zombie
• Costas Philippou who fought just this week to a KO loss
• PRIDE and UFC legend Minotauro Nogueira
• UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson
• Another former Light Heavyweight Champion in “Suga” Rashad Evans
• The popular, yet always controversial, trash-talker “The American Gangster” Chael Sonnen.

EA have done a great job with the character models. The fighters look very similar to their real life counterparts, from chiseled body of Evans to the ageing in the face of Nogueira, it all looks realistic and genuine.  Little has been shown of the gameplay, but if they can improve on EA’s last MMA outing, EA Sports MMA, then this could be a huge series for both them and the UFC.
