Sonic Generations 3DS: Special Stages revealed

Ok, I’m going to be honest with you…While I may be a huge fan of the Dreamcast, I’m not the biggest sonic fan! That being said, what I loved about the old Mega Drive titles were the special stages in each game that presented a new gameplay mechanic in each and every release.

One of my favourites was the colourful tunnels of Sonic 2, and seemingly as if it’s my birthday, Sega have released the first screens of Special Stages for the 3DS version of the upcoming Sonic Generations.

Styled after Sonic 2, these stages look to take the concept a little further by having a whole 360 degree of movement, and especially using what the 3DS is known for, this is sure to be quite an experience.
