Sega are looking to re-release Shenmue I & II

According to an article from MarketingWeek (you have to sign-up to the website to read the article), when speaking to Sega Europe’s marketing director; Joe Rooke, he said that Sega are “exploring ways to re-release the original two Shenmue titles.

Of course following the excitement of the Shenmue III Kickstarter announcement at E3 this year, it wouldn’t make much business sense for Sega to ignore this hype train and not join the bandwagon of HD remasters, especially when it’s a remaster that legions of Shenmue fans are calling for.

We’ll keep you posted as and when we hear more news on the possible Shenmue HD Collection.
