Announced today, Bossa Studio’s has shared the news that it’s macabre puzzle-stroke-dexterity-tester Surgeon Simulator 2013 is coming to PlayStation 4. The game has amassed a huge following with over 250 million people watching failed surgeries on YouTube thanks to its frustratingly fun finger controls. The game now moves from the original keyboard/mouse on PC and Mac (and the poking and pinching iPad version) to the new realm of the consoles DuelShock4 controller. The six-axis motion sensors on the controller seem to lend itself well to guiding Dr. Nigel’s virtual hand.

Our playtesters were pleasantly surprised by how good this felt. It’s quite an alien feeling at first but it gives a lot of agility to the hand, so people tended to prefer it over the stick control once they got a feel for it.”

No confirmed release date for the PS4 version has been given, for those wanting to check out Surgeon Simulator 2013, the game is available on Steam and  iPad now.
