Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Trailer Shows Off Impressive Gameplay

Warner Bros Games UK has just released the trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, one which shows the 2.5D gameplay and cutscene format. According to WB, the game will take place after the events of Arkham Origins and will follow batman as he tries to calm the chaos at Blackgate Prison, which is no doubt, caused by the psychotic inmates it houses. The game will feature the same freeflow combat, stealth gameplay, and interesting gadgets that the Arkham series is known for.

In my opinion, the game looks to be an engaging handheld experience, which will have the features we have come to love from a Rocksteady Batman game, albeit in a 2.5D setting. Furthermore, the nicely drawn, motion-comic cutscenes will be accompanied by a fully voiced narrative, to truly engage you in the storyline.  The handheld version of the game for 3DS and PS VITA will release alongside the main console and PC version on the 28th of October.
