Capcom has announced a plug and play home arcade unit that includes 16 classic arcade titles.  The Capcom Home Arcade is styled in the iconic Capcom logo, with a traditional arcade set-up with two side-by-side joystick controllers and eight function buttons each.

The unit will plug into your HDMI TV and run directly from Capcom’s arcade ROMs powered by FBAlpha.  While it does connect to the internet via Wi-Fi, the co-op action will be local, but your arcade scores will be uploaded to the worldwide, online leaderboards.

The 16 pre-installed games included in the Capcom Home Arcade surprisingly features the Aliens vs. Predator arcade game from 1994.  This game in particular is a great addition, because despite it being published by Capcom, due to licensing issues, it’s not really been seen out of its arcade home, other than alternative means of acquiring the game.

The Capcom Home Arcade will release on August 25th and will come with a hefty price of £199.99/€229.99.  You can check out the full list of games below, as well as an accompanying trailer.  Are you going to be picking up the Capcom Home Arcade?  We’d love to hear your thoughts across our social media channels.
