DriveClub – Brand Guidelines Gameplay Video & Release Date Leaked?

Originally set to be a PS4 launch title, it’s been very quiet as of late since its delay for the new IP DriveClub.  DriveClub is developed by Evolution Studios, the team behind the WRC and Motorstorm series have released a new gameplay video entitled ‘Brand Guidelines’.  The video feature shows us what it means to be a part of the Drive Club and it’s to say that DriveClub is starting to look every bit the racer that Sony had hoped, which was the reason it suffered its delay.  Well it looks like the extra time has served it well, so take a look for yourself at the video just below.

 

A DriveClub release date is expected soon and is hoped that it will release early this year.  But if the Italian Playstation Magazine is to be believed, DriveClub could be arriving this June.  This is not an official confirmation however, but at the top of their Facebook post (just below the image) it reads “We like the “hunch” that # Driveclub will arrive in June, but you do not tell anyone.”

I know if this release date is to be true, it is later then some may have hoped.  But going by DriveClub’s original delay and the video in this article, it seems that Evolution Studios are making the most of its delay and it seems the game is ever evolving (sorry).
