#E32018 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Will Feature Every Character so Far!

Nintendo has announced that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch will feature every single playable character in the entire series of Super Smash from its N64 original to present day.  Obviously each the characters will have visual upgrades, but some will even get variants of that particular character.  However, it will also feature Ridley from the Metroid series, making its debut.  As previously revealed, both Inkling Boy and Girl from Splatoon will feature, so too will Daisy, but she is just an “Echo Character” of Peach.

Not all the characters will be unlocked from the beginning, so you’ll have to earn them the good old fashioned way through progression.  Many of the characters will have improved move-sets and special attacks, and Pikachu and the Pokémon Trainer will now have both male and female versions.  Returning favourite stages will also appear, as well some new stages such as the Great Plateau from Breath of the Wild.  As an added bonus, GameCube controllers are also compatible with the game.

This is certainly going to be the most ambitious Smash in the series yet, can you imagine if we get post launch DLC?  The roster will be even more insane.  Personally I really can’t wait to get my hands on the game and play as Solid Snake!

Super Smash. Bros Ultimate will release this year for the Nintendo Switch on December 7th.
