Final Fantasy Versus XIII Aka Final Fantasy XV

If like me you have been waiting years for Final Fantasy Versus XIII to arrive, that wait is finally over! The game was first mentioned back in 2006, but there has been radio silence ever since. However, at the Sony conference at E3, Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura announced, via video, that Final Fantasy Versus XIII would be released on the next gen console, PlayStation 4, albeit under a different name. It will follow the series as “Final Fantasy XV”. That’s fifteen for anyone rusty on their Roman numerals. Tetsuya Nomura also said

Hopefully more information will be released in the next few days, such as story, characters, possible summons, etc. But from the trailer alone, the graphics are stunning and the game is following the “real time” battle system that appeared with Final Fantasy XII on the PlayStation 2. This is one game I’m very excited for and this has left me wanting more!
