Turn 10 Studios has this week released a batch of new content for the Xbox One exclusive Forza Motorsport 5.  Today we have a new Modern Day Hypercar trailer narrated by Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson, screenshots of the iconic Top Gear Test Track which will again feature in the latest Forza instalment and the latest cars from the Forza Motorsport 5 Showroom have been revealed.

So I’ll start off with the latest news and that’s the Top Gear themed content.  In the Modern Day Hyper Car trailer, Mr Clarkson talks about stunning cars such as the Pagani Huayra and the McLaren P1 (which of course is the cover car for Forza 5).  Fans of the UK and original Top Gear show will also be pleased to know that not only will Jeremy Clarkson feature in Forza 5, but so will his co-presenters James May and Richard Hammond.

Of course you couldn’t have the Top Gear presenters without the iconic Top Gear Test Track and of course the man that they call Stig.  The Top Gear Test Track will be recreated with utmost accuracy like never before with its debut on the Xbox One console and not only will you be able perfect the famous Hammerhead and Gambon corners, but you’ll also be able to take on the Stig and if you beat the Stig’s digital cousin, then you’ll earn yourself a nice little achievement too.  But I’ve got a feeling that will be no easy task.

Also this week saw the announcement of the latest cars in the Forza Motorsport 5 Showroom, which will see prestigious cars added to the already impressive roster such as the 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition, the legendary 1967 Lamborghini Miura P400, the iconic 1964 Aston Martin DB5, the classy 2007 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione and much, much more.

Coming straight from forzamotorport.net, below are all the latest cars revealed in the Forza Motorsport 5 Showroom:

2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition

2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition

This Japanese supercar delivers straight-line performance that can’t be beat by cars five times its price. In cornering, traction from its high tech all-wheel drive system delivers astounding grip and predictability. The GT-R’s looks make it a standout in any field and true import lovers will bow in its presence. There are only a handful of cars that will do anything but linger in the wake of its exhaust should they try to step to it on the track

1967 Lamborghini Miura P400

1967 Lamborghini Miura P400

Without the Lamborghini Miura, the term supercar may never have come to be. In an age when the only race-derived designs came from Ferrari, the Miura showed a new direction. The Miura was conceived and designed three of Lamborghini’s top engineers of the time. The result was a car whose form was revolutionary, and whose performance still thrills car lovers today. Forget the Sistine Chapel; this might be the highest form of Italian art.

2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series

2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series

When the top-of-the-line Mercedes coupe is lacking performance, you get the AMG. If the AMG is not enough then you have the Black Series. All the AMG, plus the 6.2-liter V-8 with 510 horsepower motor from the SLS AMG supercar, as well as handling and aerodynamics to make it pliable. Providing outstanding stability for all that power is a wider track in both the front and rear. For Merc lovers, it simply does not get any better than this.

2007 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione

2007 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione

From every possible angle, the 8C Competizione is a steel-and-carbon-fibre supermodel of the highest order. You might be surprised that it wasn’t designed by one of the famous Italian coachbuilders — it was designed in-house at Alfa Romeo’s own design center. As with anything, pure looks alone only prevail in pictures and magazines, so the Competizione remains true to its heritage in performance as well. Under the shapely hood, you will find a 450 horsepower V8 designed in cooperation with Maserati. This supermodel is ready to run with the best of them.
