Media Molecule appear to be continuing to do what they are best known for in developing games for the creatively inclined, and at this year’s Game Awards a new trailer, showcasing just that, was released of their upcoming title, Dreams.

The game is a creative sandbox which allows players to craft their own “dreams” (levels) using the in game engine. Reminiscent in this way of Little Big Planet, these open up a whole load of options for creating your own content, and of course you can share and delve into the rest of the communities’ creations.

The trailer doesn’t really elaborate much on this, however it does show that a campaign of sorts has been created by Media Molecule – so it’s not just a ‘create your own game’ affair.

It’s quite impressive to see the reveal after the introduction of the trailer, which states that this was just another level created using the tools in the game, and that says a lot about how ambitious this project is sounding.

I’d recommend watching the trailer for yourself below, especially if you were enamoured with Media Molecule’s previous outings. This is looking to be something pretty special.
