Gamescom: The Sims 4 – Official Gameplay Trailer

EA has just released a new trailer for, The Sims 4, one which showcases the games new, and intuitive building system that lets you craft easily, whether it be your Sim or house. I have to say, the tuning aspect does look much easier and imaginative than the traditional slider manipulation. Which in my opinion took a long time, but now, you can just go over to the part you want, and shape it up however you like! It’s that easy.

Also,  this trailer was revealed at Gamescom today, where details about the new “emotion” feature were talked about. Unlike last time, the emotions will have a lasting effect on your Sims and will influence their decision making habits. The producer today showed just that! In the scene which you can see below, two Sims were competing for a female Sim’s affection. According to the producer, everything around your characters will influence their emotional outcomes, like the design of your house and the way you control them. It also, in this video, led to the Sim falling for one guy over the other. However, if things were designed a bit more grim, the outcome just may have been different.

No release date has been set yet, but it should be sometime next year. Until then, be sure to watch the video below!
