#GAMESCOM2014 – New Bloodborne Trailer & Release Window Revealed

A new trailer for the PS4 exclusive Bloodborne was revealed at Gamescom, the highly anticipated title from developers From Software, the team behind the ever popular Dark Souls series.  Additionally it was also revealed that Bloodborne will release in around six months time, which would be a Q1 2015 release.

From Software also detailed that the Bloodborne combat system would be faster, yet more aggressive then Demon Soul’s and Dark Souls.  Details were also revealed for the new Risk vs. Reward system, in which it will allow gamers to regain health, should they strike an enemy instantly after taking damage.  So if you lose health during a heated battle (which I’m sure you will), you can regain health with precise counter attacks.  During the combat scenes of Bloodborne, you will also be able to switch weapons at a moment’s notice, which should give the game a tactical edge.
