God Of War III Remastered Announced For PS4
The God of War series turns 10 years old today and what better way to celebrate then to announce a new game? Well I say “new”, but it is actually in fact God of War III Remastered for the PS4, which is considered by many to be the best in the series. With the recent influx of HD remasters of late, some may roll their eyes at this announcement, but I for one am very excited.
God of War III released way back in 2010 for the PS3, but still holds up well today and judging by the announcement trailer and screenshots shown, this remastered edition looks even more stunning, hell it could even possibly pass as a new gen game in my opinion.
God of War III Remastered will run at 1080p with a target of 60fps and come with its own photo-mode feature. It will release for the PS4 on July 17th 2015 here in the UK. Have a watch at the announcement trailer above and the screenshots below.
Also it might mean nothing, but at the end of the trailer, four God of War logos appear, could this be a God of War 4 tease of some sort? Hopefully the next announcement from SCE and Santa Monica will be a new instalment to the series for the PlayStation 4, but this should tide us over nicely until then. “Zeus!! Your son has returned”
