Horizon Zero Dawn cinematic trailer looks as epic as you might expect!
Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerrilla Games has released a new cinematic story trailer for the forthcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive; Horizon Zero Dawn. Really up until now we’ve known very little about this new IP, other then it stars a lead female protagonist by the name of Aloy and she is a hunter living in a future post-apocalyptic earth now overrun by mechanical-like dinosaurs.
We also know that while there will be good and bad creatures, the species holds the key to their existence and the hope that mankind can reclaim their planet or at least, live alongside the beasts in harmony. The game is also open-world, so it’s fair to assume that it will be packed with side activities, as well as the main campaign of course.
However, in the story trailer below, we learn a lot more in regards to the premise of the story with potential allies that may or may not wage war alongside Aloy. Now this trailer will contain spoilers, so you have been warned. So, if you want its plot to be more of surprise come release, you may want to skip it or you can do what I did, and watch the trailer in mute and skip through parts of the footage. Horizon Zero Dawn will release exclusively for PS4 on February 28th in North America and March 1st across Europe.
