Infamous: Second Son – Collectors Edition Trailer

Sucker Punch and SCEA have just released a new trailer, showcasing the items that will be included with the upcoming Collector’s Edition for Infamous: Second Son. Overall it is a pretty solid edition, with some really cool items to be had, just that the soundtrack is missing, unfortunately. Anyways, even with that in mind, this does look pretty damn cool.

The Special Edition will include the full game in a unique packaging, bundled with a beanie similar to the one worn by Delsin in Second Son. Most interestingly, it will include special DLC called Cole’s Legacy. Cole’s Legacy bridges the gap between Infamous 2 and Second Son, shedding light on the events that led to this new world. Those that are interested in this DLC, should consider buying the Special Edition as it won’t be available for purchase separately at launch.

The Collector’s Edition on the other hand will contain more physical goodies. It will include a full copy of Infamous Second Son, an exclusive cover, exclusive denim vest cover, a replica of Delsin’s beanie, a set of badges, collector’s coin, bottle opener and Cole’s Legacy DLC. Again, for those that want the DLC should consider purchasing one of the two Special Editions, as it will not be available at launch.

Unfortunately, the soundtrack, which is being worked on by Marc Canham & Nathan Johnson is nowhere to be seen in either editions, and it is also not known if it will be available as a stand-alone purchase at a later date. So, fingers crossed!

Set 7 years after the devastating events of Infamous 2, Second Son will release exclusively on the PS4 next month on the 21st. The story follows a new protagonist named Delsin Rowe as he brings order to chaos, or chaos to order in a suppressed world where conduits are frowned upon. Also if you haven’t yet noticed, Delsin is voiced by non other than the talented, Troy Baker!
