Kingdom Hearts Re:coded gameplay trailer

On 14th Janurary. Nintendo DS owners – especially Kingdom Hearts fans – will be able to get their hands on the latest in the series, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. In the meantime Square Enix has provided us with a gameplay trailer, so those still undecided can see how it looks in motion.

The trailer shows that Re:coded looks to be a graphical step up from the previous Kingdom Hearts on the Nintendo DS, 358/2 Days. Gameplay dosen’t look much different, with the exception that there are some new elements, such as 2D sidescrolling, Space Harrier-esque shooting and RPG sections. It’s looking like those who need their Kingdom Hearts fix after finishing 358/2 Days (and if you’re a PSP owner – Birth by Sleep) will be satisfied with Re:coded, since many of the worlds in Re:coded will be familiar to fans. But we’ll see if it will attract new audiences in four days time.
