Konami’s PC Engine Mini Adds 8 More Games including Splatterhouse, Totals to 57

When the PC Engine CoreGrafx Mini was announced at this year’s E3, I’m sure it wasn’t something that many fans had asked for, especially when Konami said that they had a surprise announcement and many fans such as myself, really hoped that it would be a new Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid or Castlevania game.  However, as Konami reveal the games to be included in the PC Engine mini bit by bit, it’s starting to shape up to be quite the mini HD retro console.

We’ve already had more than 40 games announced, from classics over here in the west and many more that many of us perhaps have never heard of from Japan.  Well, Konami has just revealed a further 8 games to be added to the already packed roster, taking us to a current total of 57 games!  Among the recently announced games is Friday the 13th inspired, horror side-scrolling slasher, Splatterhouse.

Along with Splatterhouse, the other 7 titles announced include Dragon Spirit, Galaga ’88, Seirei Senshi Spriggan, Spriggan mk2, The Genji and the Heike Clans, and The Legend of Valkyrie.

The PC Engine CoreGrafx Mini is exclusive to Amazon and will release on March 19th 2020 with an RRP of £99.99/€109.99.
