Mad Catz’s War Wings: Hell Catz Trailer shows off World War II aerial action

Known for their accessories, third-party peripheral giants Mad Catz have decided to expand their operations to the software side of the video games industry, with War Wings: Hell Catz being their debut title.

War Wings: Hell Catz isn’t being developed by Mad Catz (Trickstar Games is the ones responsible for the creation of the title) but instead being published by them. According to the website “War Wings: Hell Catz, is set in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. The game will feature intense air combat in authentic and a variety of missions.” so anybody expecting digital cats in planes fighting it out over milk and female cats will be disappointed.

War Wings: Hell Catz is the first installment of War Wings games, with more expected to follow after the first installment is launched in 2012 (it hasn’t been stated which platform). According to Darren Richardson, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz Interactive, War Wings: Hell Catz “has been met with much interest amongst the gaming community and we are excited to release the first trailer of the game, which we believe offers a glimpse at what gamers can expect to see come 2012.” Does the following trailer make you interested in the game itself?
