Mobile Shooter APB: Retribution Debut Trailer Released

Reloaded Productions and Blazing Griffin present to you a debut trailer for their upcoming top-down shooter APB: Retribution.

Set in the city of San Paro, the player is given the chance to exact revenge on a gang leader who has left you for dead, presenting a kind of Hotline Miami meets GTA campaign with tons of violence, shooting and mayhem along the way. It won’t be easy either, this is a one-hit equals death deal so expect plenty of frustration coupled with immense satisfaction once a tricky section is completed.

Michael Boniface, MD at Reloaded Productions, stated:

“Working alongside Blazing Griffin has allowed us to expand and explore a different aspect of the APB universe, whilst still concentrating on content creation for APB Reloaded. This is something that would not have been possible without undertaking in this co-development experience.”

Blazing Griffin’s MD, Peter van der Watt, added:

“We’ve been able to gather insight into how a larger games studio and brand operate. Due to the nature of the collaboration and level of creative freedom we’ve been granted, we’ve been able to contribute in a much more substantial way than is usual on a project of this type.”

This is looking like a really nice mobile title. Will this kind of game work well on a small touchscreen for iOS? That remains to be seen, but if the developers can utilise the systems controls then this could be a great new addition to your mobile and tablet gaming library.

APB: Retribution is currently listed as coming soon for iOS but is rumoured to be released December 2014.
