As well as winning 2017’s most anticipated game at The Game Awards last night, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild received a brand new trailer as well as having a new pre-recorded gameplay demonstration on show, presented by the games director; Eiji Aounuma.  Interestingly, it seems the demo is performed on the Nintendo Wii U, rather than the newly announced Switch.

In the gameplay demo, we get to see a new quest and a new area called the Zonai Ruins, as well as a quest-log to help keep track of the games many activities for which you can partake, as well as some combat.

Oh and is that our first glimpse of Princess Zelda we see in the trailer?

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild releases in 2017 for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U.  You can watch both the trailer and gameplay demonstration below.
