New Videos Arise For ‘Ryse: Son Of Rome’

With the launch date of the Xbox One fast approaching next month, Crytek are working hard to promote their launch date title, Ryse: Son Of Rome, with two next videos following the previous story trailers and screenshots from last week.

First up is the short video with master blade smith, Tony Swatton, who explains the level of detail that has gone into the armour and weapons featured in Ryse. Covering topics from why the shield and weapons are specific sizes and the different materials used in the designs. It’s a pretty interesting piece and really shows the extent of work Crytek are putting into this next-gen game.

 

Next is a short TV spot that seems to mix a little of pre-rendred sequences in with a spattering of live-action. It hypes the game well, but I’d have liked to see some gameplay footage myself.

 

Ryse: Son Of Rome with be released exclusively for Xbox One next month on November 22nd.
