Nintendo Switch Is Finally Getting Monster Hunter (No, Not That One)

 

Looks like the Nintendo Switch will finally be getting a Monster Hunter game that will actually be released internationally, unlike Monster Hunter XX, which was only available in east-Asia.

Although some fans might be disappointed that it isn’t Capcom’s latest and arguably best instalment,  they will be happy to at least know that Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is a follow up to one of the best Monster Hunter games, Generations which was originally released for the Nintendo 3DS.  This chapter will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch and will feature a brand new library of monsters and even a never before seen Elder Dragon. Of course, fan favourites such as Zinogre and Nargacuga will be available to fight in the game as well.

 

Furthermore, it will introduce “G” ranked missions that will put pit you against some of the most formidable creatures yet. Not to mention, there will be six different hunting styles which will cater to different players whether new or returning. In fact, if you have played the original Monster Hunter Generations, you will be able to carry over your saves as well in order to continue where you left off.

Looks like Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate will be releasing close to the PC release of Monster Hunter World on the 28th of August and will be playable with friends online and locally. It will be available both physically and digitally, making it a fully fledged release.
