Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is Coming to Nintendo Switch, Demo Out Now

To kick-off last week’s Nintendo Direct dedicated to Pokémon, a new game or I should say, a remake was announced.  Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX originally started out in 2006, as two separate games (Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team) for the Game Boy Advance and the Nintendo DS.

However, a good 15 years later, both games are now back as remasters in one glorious game for the Nintendo Switch.  I know practically nothing about these games, other than as the name suggests, you explore dungeons with your fellow Pokémon, taking on jobs, rescuing Pokémon and more as you play through its story.  However, quite interestingly, the story begins with you as a human, who turns into a Pokémon and the one of sixteen Pokémon that you play as, is determined by a personality quiz.

If like me, you’ve never played any of the original games from 2006 (of 2005 in Japan), then you can download a playable demo of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX right now via the Nintendo eShop and best of all, your progress will carry over into the full game.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX will release for the Nintendo Switch on March 6th.
