Uncharted opened the PlayStation Experience, but while most was expecting this to be the first ever singleplayer story expansion for Uncharted 4, we actually got a reveal for some standalone content.

Uncharted: Lost Legacy is set after the events of Uncharted 4 and you will be playing as the returning Chloe with the bad-ass Nadine from Uncharted 4 playing a pivotal role as her accompanying associate.  Judging from the trailer below, The Lost Legacy introduces a lock-picking mechanic and will perhaps be very stealth orientated (though I’m sure as always, it will also be packed with action sequences).

Story-wise we also know that Chloe is hunting for the treasure known as the Tusk of Ganesha and the game will be set entirely in India, and will feature a variety of locations.  During a panel at PSX, Naughty Dog also confirmed that The Lost Legacy started out as DLC for Uncharted 4, but evolved into standalone content.  Lost Legacy will be available to those that purchased either the Uncharted 4 Digital Deluxe Edition or the Explorer’s Pack at no extra cost.  But you only have until December 13th to purchase either one to get Lost Legacy included, so act fast! (Otherwise it will be an individual purchase).

They also confirmed that the Lost Legacy will be shorter then Uncharted 4’s campaign, but longer then The Last of Us expansion, Left BehindThe Lost Legacy will release sometime in 2017.  You can check out the announcement trailer below and I’ll include that panel from Naughty Dog.  You can also check out a batch of screenshots above.
