Puyo Puyo Tetris Makes its Way to the West on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4

 

Puyo Puyo and Tetris are two of the most popular puzzle franchises in the world. Now they are combining and the West will actually get to witness it! Originally released in 2014 in Japan, Puyo Puyo Tetris will be releasing this Spring on PlayStation 4 digitally and on the Nintendo Switch digitally and physically. The rules are a combination of both games and will take some getting used to at first.

 

The game will have a solo campaign as well as other modes to play by yourself. On top of that it will also have a four player local multiplayer mode to compete against your friends that you like enough to have round, as well as an online multiplayer mode for those that you don’t. It will be interesting to see how the game fares in the West but if it’s half as addictive as previous entries in both franchises it could be a hit. You can watch the teaser trailer below.
