Quantum Break to be Xbox One/Windows 10 Cross-Buy, releases April
Microsoft has confirmed to little surprise that Quantum Break will now of course be making its way to Windows 10, as well as for Xbox One. What is somewhat surprising however, is that those that pre-order Quantum Break digitally for Xbox One, will also have it available for Windows 10 with Cross-Buy at no additional cost and it will arrive for Xbox One and PC on April 5th.
As an added bonus, all those that purchase Quantum Break will get the digital version of the Xbox 360 classics Alan Wake (with The Writer and The Signal DLC) and those that pre-order will also get American Nightmare, which is now backwards compatible.
Following teases and a questionnaire from May last year, I’m a little disappointed that one of my favourite horror games won’t be getting a HD remaster after all, but at least I can try to get those last two achievements that have eluded for quite some time. However, perhaps the teases from writer and creative director at Remedy may have been teasing a sequel after all?
If that wasn’t enough, an Xbox One Special Edition Quantum Break bundle has been announced, which includes Quantum Break (obviously), the two Alan Wake titles, a 500GB Cirrus White console and a matching wireless controller. The bundle will carry an RRP of £319.99 and will be sold in the UK exclusive at Game from April 5th.
And one final surprise, the new live-action trailer for the Quantum Break series that will run alongside the game has now also released entitled “The Cemetery”, you can watch the trailer below.
