Resident Evil 6 Captivate 2012 Trailer

It would seem Capcom is about as leak tight as an Umbrella research facility, what with the original reveal and now this latest trailer for Resident Evil 6 from Captivate 2012. There’s a lot more story on show this time round, with the identities of previously mysterious characters being revealed, a brand new virus and enough intrigue to really start the hype machine.

As revealed in the video the third playable character is now none other than Wesker Jr. Albert Wesker’s son. Pretty left field reveal, and one that some fans may found a little weird. Also confirmed is the return of Sherry Birkin, her first appearance since Resident Evil 2. Of further note is the new, earlier release date of 2nd October 2012.

With Chris and Leon trading blows, a globe spanning conspiracy and what is looking overall to be an extremely exciting ride, I believe its safe to say that I am not the only one that can be coloured as hyped. Lets just hope it makes up for the decidedly sub-par Operation Raccoon City…
