Resistance 3 Goes Gold

More than a month before it even arrives to our retail shelves, PS3 exclusive Resistance 3 has gone gold. This announcement also indicates that the title is now a finished product, and will likely be manufactured into its Blu-ray form as we speak

The news arrived to the PlayStation Blog by the Senior Community Manager of Insomniac Games, James Stevenson.

I’m here today to bring the news that Resistance 3 has gone gold, and has been delivered to manufacturing for its 7th, 8th and 9th September release dates across PAL. Everyone here at Insomniac is excited for you to get your hands on the game we’ve been working so hard on for the last three years.

And to celebrate then golden announcement, here is a brand new gameplay trailer for Resistance 3.

Stevenson was also happy to mention that they are actively working on the Online Beta, which will begin next week on August 10th for EU PlayStation Plus subscribers. Also, the team will be bringing a Day 1 Patch to the game to being “updates and tweaks” to the final product, released on September 9th in the UK.
