Sega Classics Virtua Racing and Wonder Boy in Monster Land out Now for Nintendo Switch

Available today for the Nintendo Switch are Sega classics, Virtua Racing and Monster Boy in Monster LandVirtua Racing was a true arcade cabinet classic, as well as releasing for home console for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, the 32X and Sega Saturn between 1992 to 1996.  If memory serves me correct, I originally played this on the arcade, as well as the Sega Mega Drive back in the day.  I remember being not only blown away by its great visuals for the time, but it also handled pretty well too.

Wonder Boy in Monster Land released between 1991 to 1993 for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and the Sega Master System, before being re-released on a plethora of systems over the years.  I remember playing this on the Sega Master system and being impressed that you could buy items, change gear and weapons, I suppose in a little way, it was a light introduction to mild RPG mechanics for me.

Both games will sell on the Nintendo Switch eShop for £5.99/€6.99/$10.95 each.  Virtua Racing will come with new modern day quality of life improvements such HD visuals (for both games), 8-player local multiplayer, online matchmaking, an improved framerate, draw distances, rankings and more.

Wonder Boy in Monster Land now includes a New Game Plus, three challenge modes, online leaderboards, a ranking system and more.  Both games are available to download right now!
