Sega Mega Drive Classics is coming to Nintendo Switch

Previously only available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Sega has announced that Sega Mega Drive Classics or Sega Genesis Classics depending on your region is coming to the Nintendo Switch.  This collection of games offers 50 classic Sega titles and even though it had some odd flaws, I even mentioned in my review that this would be a natural fit for the Switch.  So I’m glad that this is happening and it’s a game that I will likely pick up to play on the go.

We don’t know an exact release date as of yet, other than this winter, but I’m sure Sega will give us a solid release date soon enough.  In the meantime, you can check out its short announcement trailer and a batch of screenshots below.  You can also read our review of Sega Mega Drive Classics to see if it’s worth your consideration.
