Tetris Is Getting a Battle Royale Game, Exclusive to Nintendo Online Subscribers

Yep, you’ve read that headline correctly; Tetris is getting its very own battle royale!  As crazy as that seems, it looks like the concept might actually work rather well.  Entitled Tetris 99, you will battle it out against other 98 players online in pretty much traditional Tetris gameplay fashion.

Other competing players will be trying to influx your game with hordes of blocks, and you will be attempting to do the same to them.  Eventually as each players screen will get fully clogged up, they will be eliminated, and the last player standing wins the match!

Tetris 99 will be free and exclusive to Nintendo Online subscribers, and it’s available to download right now.
