The opening hour demo for Prey is now available on the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Store where you will be stepping into Talos I, a space station overrun by a sinister alien force.

The demo will see you take on the role of the main character Morgan Yu, lead scientist aboard Talos I, who is working on a scientific breakthrough meant to alter humanity forever. You will quickly get to witness an exciting first day of work turn into something dark and ground shattering.

Unfortunately, and for a weird reason, which probably deals with optimisation issues, PC gamers have been left out of the demo which is only available on the console, however the requirements for the PC version have been revealed and they are a bit baffling, especially in regards to the 16GB requirement of RAM which seems a bit overkill.

Prey will be available on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One on the 5th of May and will feature a story crafted by renowned game designer, Chris Avellone. Check out what went into creating the story here.
