The Xbox One’s very own TV charm offensive and coercion campaign is imminent as the upcoming console looks to snag undecided gamers and excite staunch supporters with their advert titled ‘Invitation‘.

Weighing in at just over a minute and a half of multimedia hyperbole, the footage showcases a large majority of the talent and features that are exclusive or will be in the spotlight on Microsoft’s big black box. The games that are either hinted at or explicitly shown are Titanfall, FIFA 14, Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome, whilst Star Trek’s Zachary Quinto and Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard both make notable cameos.

Enough to convince you to put £429 down on an Xbox One? Well, Microsoft certainly hope so. A recent report in The Guardian suggests that as much as $100 million could be spent on what they describe as a “global marketing blitz“, making it the most financially consuming campaign ever launched for the Xbox brand.

Whether you’re ‘Team PS4‘ or ‘Team Xbox One‘, I’m sure we can at least all agree that this is a pretty fantastic bit of advertising. The Xbox One is released in 13 countries on November 22nd.
