Yoshi’s New Island Release March 14th, Special 3DS XL Edition Announced

Not content with just a software launch, Yoshi’s New Island is arriving in Europe on March 14th alongside a Special Edition 3DS XL using Yoshi’s familiar green and white look. A new trailer was also shown off demoing the Mega Eggdozers and Metal Eggdozers, the latter which helps Yoshi to adventure underwater.

 

You can also use gyroscopic controls to control a Submarine Yoshi or Jackhammer Yoshi. Super Yoshi also allows you to run along walls and ceilings at a super fast pace. For those who might struggle with the game, Nintendo has taken their Super Guide and turned it into “Flutter Wings” which allows Yoshi to fly through levels he might be having trouble with. Some new screens of the game and the official Yoshi 3DS Xl Design.
