16 Prometheus Images Released

Ridley Scott’s highly anticipated Alien prequel Prometheus is fast approaching, and to wet the appetite of eager fans even more, 16 official photographs have been released.

Set in the year 2085, the film tells the story of the crew of the spacecraft Prometheus, including The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo‘s Noomi Rapace, Hancock‘s Charlize Theron and A Dangerous Method‘s Michael Fassbender, as they investigate an alien civilisation which holds a clue to the origins of the human race. But once there, they must engage in a terrifying struggle in order to save humanity and secure its future. Prometheus marks a return to the Alien franchise for Ridley Scott, who was the director of the original Alien film in 1979. The film is due for release in the UK on 1st June 2012.
