Adam Sandler and his latest comedy, Jack and Jill, set a new record at the 32nd Golden Raspberry (Razzie) Awards as they scooped all 10 awards, including Worst Actor and Worst Actress (Sandler as both titular characters in Jack and Jill and for his role in Just Go with It), Worst Screen Couple (Sandler with Katie Holmes, Al Pacino or himself as his counterpart in Jack and Jill) and Worst Screenplay. It trumped all other entries, including Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon, Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. Jack and Jill follows Jack Sadelstein, played by Sandler, who is dreading a Thanksgiving visit from his needy, passive-aggressive twin sister Jill – also played by Sandler – who later refuses to leave his home. The film currently holds a disappointing 3% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The Razzies were awarded this year on April Fool’s Day, changing the tradition of announcing the Razzies for years on the eve of the Oscars in late February.
