Alan Wake Live-Action TV Series Is on the Way!

There have been some rumours for a while, especially as the fantastic horror title Alan Wake is presented in-game similar to that of a TV series inspired by the Twilight Zone.  However it has now been officially announced that there will be a live-action TV series based upon Alan Wake and it is in development right now.  This news was revealed by Contradiction Films and Remedy Entertainment exclusively to Variety.

Peter Calloway will be leading the project as the showrunner and writer, Calloway is known for his work on Legion and Cloak and Dagger.  The games director, Sam Lake will also be the executive producer, so it should insure that the TV series adaptation is faithful to the video game.

As a fan of Alan Wake that has longed for a sequel, this is excellent news at least and is an absolute natural fit; I can’t wait to see it.  Are you excited by this news?  Let us know across our social media channels.
