Jake Gyllenhaal to Star In The Division Movie

Not only did we find out that the movie for Tom Clancy’s The Division is being planned, but we also found out that none other than Jake Gyllenhaal will be leading it. The movie still seems to be quite early in the planning phases, as a writer has not even been finalised yet, let alone the script.

I personally am a huge fan of Jake Gyllenhaal, especially after the brilliant movies he has delivered in, such as, Dan Gilroy’s Nightcrawler (2014) and Antoine Fuqua’s Southpaw (2015). Furthermore, The Division itself supports a very interesting setting that can be really well utilized by any good writer.  Ubisoft have big plans in the movie industry, as an Assassin’s Creed movie starring Michael Fassbender is releasing this year and a Splinter Cell movie is also rumoured to be in the works starring Tom Hardy.
