Kick-Ass 2 is Already Scheduled to be Released in 2012!

Mark Millar has officially said production on Kick Ass 2: Balls To The Wall will begin next year, with a cinema release scheduled for 2012.

There’s not much information at the moment but it was to be expected… the ending screamed sequel. Mintz-Plasse has also hinted that the sequel will be an even blacker, more violent affair, with his troubled Red Mist character taking some particularly dark turns (Red Blade? Red Samurai? Thoughts on his new name below please!)

And if you can’t stand the two year wait, there may be a glimmer of hope… True fans “can find out what happens [in the sequel] two years in advance” by picking up CLiNT, Millar’s new comic book magazine due for release in September.
