It’s been that long since we’ve heard any news on the Halo TV series that has none other than Steven Spielberg on the team (I assume in some advisory capacity).  In all honesty, I had all but forgotten that this was ever a thing, but now we’ve had an update out of nowhere, revealing that the Halo TV series is alive and well.

It was revealed this week that Showtime will be picking up the Halo TV series and it will be a 10-episode season.  This series will have Kyle Killen (Awake) as the executive producer, writer and showrunner.  Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) will be directing multiple episodes.  Kyle Killen will be the executive producer, as well as Rupert Wyatt, Scott Pennington, along with Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank for Amblin Television.  Full production will start on the Halo TV series sometime during early 2019.

Let’s just hope that this Halo TV series is good and that don’t mess it up.
