New Red Band Trailer Confirms This Is The End As The Comedy To Beat In 2013

 

Following on from Seth Rogen and James Franco’s December 21st, 2012-themed worldwide introduction to Rogen’s directorial debut This Is The End, April Fool’s Day brings plot and character to what is sure to be the comedy of the year.

Starring *deep breath* Seth Rogen, James Franco, Danny McBride, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, Jay Baruchel, Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Michael Cera, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling and Emma Watson (?) as themselves, the movie seems to pose the age old question of what would happen if America’s funniest people were all trapped at James Franco’s house when the apocalypse arrived? Well, from the look of the film’s second red band trailer, they would end up all arguing over a Milky Way bar.

Sure to employ some of the comedy-gore that has been used so efficiently in Edgar Wright movies, there’s almost no way that this can flop. Here’s hoping, Seth!
