Simpson is Samus Aran?

Internet rumours are the greatest, they let us know the might, could, should and shouldn’t about all we that has yet to happen… and when it’s about the Metroid franchise, you have take notice!  Especially when you mention that; Samus Aran, sexy symbol to fanboys everywhere, may be played by Jessica Simpson.

Let that possibility sink in for a minute.

She wants to reboot her movie career.  What better venue for that than slender beauty Samus from Metriod?  It has been far too long since we saw Ms. Simpson as Daisy Duke in her cute little denim shorts and now we have the chance to see her in a lyrcra space suit… But wait, it gets better: Uwe Boll – who has done screen interpretations of Alone in the Dark, Far Cry and all three Blood Rayne films – is rumoured to be directing it, too.  This feels like some kind of bizarre recipe, all these ingredients that don’t seem to fit together but I can’t wait to see what the outcome is!
