The Hangover: Part II – Trailer
Warner Brother’s has just released the sneak-peak teaser trailer for the follow up to 2009’s smash hit, The Hangover. Although initially a slow-burner at the box-office, The Hangover went on to be a huge hit with audiences and critics alike, and rightly so. The film was completely insane, rude, risky and yet magnificiently hilarious. And thus comes the sequel.
In the first installment, we see Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Jason Bartha),head to Las Vegas for Doug’s disastrous bachelor party, and this time round we’re following the guys over to Bangkok, where neurotic Stu has planned himself a calm and risk-free wedding. The plot has been kept fairly hidden, however what we do know is that Stu ends up with half his face covered in a tattoo, (done by none-other than Liam Neeson), Alan loses his perm, and Doug is yet again nowhere to be seen. Also rumoured to be returning will be Ken Jeong and Mike Tyson. Don’t fret though. Back in July Zach Galifianakas stated that it wouldn’t be a carbon-copy of the first film and it isn’t all about a bachelor party.
Considering how much I loved the first film, I’m really not TOO nervous about the sequel. They’ve not rushed it, they’ve cast it pretty well and seem to have a fairly fresh approach to their comic-writing. I can’t wait for more teaser-trailers and the full-length official trailer to be released, which should be soon considering The Hangover: Part II will be released at the end of May 2011.
