Transformers 3 updates

Although sequel to the critically panned Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers 3’s production is moving ahead as planned, with a number of updates. Despite Michael Bay’s previous criticism of the usage of 3D in films as a gimmick earlier this year, the movie will be in 3D upon its release. In addition, Bay will be cutting out the twins Mudflap and Skidz from the previous film in what he describes as an attempt to get rid of the “dorky comedy”. John Turturro will also reprise his role as the comic relied Agent Simmons.

Thus far, the movie is on track for a July 2011 release date. More details as they come.
