Jeri Ryan to be in Mortal Kombat web series

In the previously reported Mortal Kombat web series it was confirmed that it was picked up after a trailer was pitched to Warner Bros.

It has now been confirmed that Jeri Ryan, who can be seen playing Sonya Blade, will reprise her role when the series is available. This was mentioned by herself who posted the following on her (verified) twitter account:

“Heading to the farmer’s market with the hubs & my girl. Then this evening I head to Vancouver to shoot Mortal Kombat! (NOW it’s official)”
