Just in case the launch of the Assassin’s Creed movie franchise wasn’t enough, Ubisoft has revealed that they are working on a TV series.  The news was announced on Reddit by AC Head of Content Aymar Azaizia where fans were able to ask him any questions they like.

When a fan asked Azaizia about the possibility of the TV series (which is expected to release on a streaming platform such as Netflix), he replied “It’s like the movie guys, we will take our time, to get sure we deliver something we can be proud of, but if you wander if it’s on our plan… YES.”  He did not elaborate on any further details, but at least we know something is in the works and it will be interesting for fans to see how this develops over time.

Also, you may remember recent images of the alleged next Assassin’s Creed game leaking, which kind of looked like it had an Egyptian setting going by the name of “Empire”.  Well a fan also asked if this is the next AC game, Azaizia simply replied “Not ACJ

As always, when we hear further news on the Assassin’s Creed TV series, we’ll update you right away.
