Who Will Helm Captain America 2?

The list of possible directors for Captain America 2 has narrowed down further, Deadline reports. Marvel is talking to Joe and Anthony Russo (You, Me and Dupree), George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau) among others for the role of helming the project. F. Gary Gray (Law Abiding Citizen) had been on that list but according to Deadline he has pulled back from consideration to negotiate directing New Line Cinemas’ NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton instead.

The sequel is to follow Captain America straight after the events of Avengers Assemble, as the red white and blue super-soldier tries to adjust to modern day. Perhaps this will create an interesting parallel to Marvel’s previous instalment, Thor, which saw a Norse god adjust to life on Earth.
